As part of its efforts to promote peaceful co-existence among Nigerians, Arewatees, a lifestyle brand has embarked on peace building campaign in Nigeria through wears and designs.

The founder and creative director of the brand, Mr Samuel Okopi during a media parley yesterday in Kaduna explained that his organisation are using different designs with national symbols to pass message of peace across the country.

“We are using different designs with national symbols like the Nigerian flag, coat of arms to spread message of peace and unity in the country”.

According to him, 55,000 Nigerians will benefit from this year’s project tagged ‘My Nigeria Peace Project 2023’.

“Our target this year is to give out 50,000 branded t-shirts for adults and 5,000 for children by October this year. We want them love their country”.

“We are on a mission to build peace in the world using casual wears like t-shirts to send the message to the world and foster unity in Nigeria. What inspired us was the insurgency in the north-east”.

“We want Nigerians to love their country the more, we are getting them to know the beautiful things about Nigeria and history of Nigeria, there are a lot to love about Nigeria. We are educating people the more to believe in Nigeria”.

Okopi further explained that, the project would reverse the brain drain to brain gain, as even the diaspora professionals would find Nigeria attractive enough to return home.

He therefore advised the youths not to give up on Nigeria, urging the to unite and reverse the brain drain in the country.
