Bandits Abduct Driver, Passengers In Katsina

Gunmen suspected to be terrorists have abducted a driver and all the passengers in an 18-seater bus belonging to Katsina State Transport Authority (KSTA).

A credible source who is a staff of the KSTA told Thenewsfactual that  the incident occurred on Thursday at about 12.30 pm between Burdugau and Yar Goje Villages at Mararaba Kankara highway while coming from Funtua to Katsina.

He added that the terrorists were armed with sophisticated weapons and flocked the passengers into the bush.

Meanwhile, the state Police Command is yet to make an official statement regarding the incident at the time of filing this report.
