The director of Kaduna International Housing Exhibition 1.0 (KADIHE 1.0) Joshua James has reinstated it commitment in addressing housing needs of Kaduna citizens.
The director while addressing a press conference yesterday in Kaduna said, KADIHE 1.0 marks a significant milestone in addressing the housing needs of Kaduna citizens and promoting sustainable urban development.
According to him, Housing is crucial in creating vibrant communities where families can thrive, businesses can flourish, and opportunities abound.
He said that the objectives of the exhibition is to bring more investments and more developers into Kaduna State, with construction financing to modern building.
Mr. James said, “the exhibition serves as a platform to showcase our achievements, exchange ideas with industry leaders, and explore innovative technologies and practices that can further enhance our housing sector. It is an opportunity for developers, investors, and policymakers to collaborate towards realizing our shared vision of sustainable urbanization”.
“As we navigate the challenges posed by rapid urbanization and population growth, we remain steadfast in our commitment to inclusivity, resilience, and environmental stewardship. We recognize the importance of integrating social, economic, and environmental considerations into our urban planning efforts to build communities that are not only livable but also sustainable for future generations”.
He encouraged all stakeholders in the State to leverage on the exhibition as catalyst for transformative action.
James however, reiterated governor Uba Sani’s tremendous strides in housing and urban development, saying that the goal of the governor is to ensure that housing remains fundamental rights for all citizens.
He disclosed that the theme of the exhibition is ‘Kaduna Sustainable Housing Development – A Model for Northern Reforms’, saying they are committed to providing quality housing solutions that enhance the lives of all Kaduna residents.
