Patrick Ambut Resumes Office As Chairman Of Kaduna ADC

The Kaduna State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has formally announced the resumption of Elder Patrick D. Ambut as the duly elected and recognized State Chairman of the party.

A statement signed by the state Publicity Secretary of the Party, Engr. Idris Musa, and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Monday, said the announcement followed the earlier communications to political stakeholders in the state.

According to the statement, Elder Ambut has officially resumed duties and will henceforth represent the ADC in all political activities, including engagements with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission ( KAD- SECOM), Kaduna State Peace Commission, security agencies, and other critical stakeholders.

The statement urged the general public, media, political institutions, and partner organizations to disregard any claims by Honourable Tijani Mustapha Ahmad, to the chairmanship of ADC in the state.

The statement reads in part: “The general public, media, political institutions, and partner organizations are hereby notified to disregard any claims by Hon. Tijani Mustaph Ahmad to the chairmanship of the ADC in Kaduna State.

“All correspondences, inquiries, and official interactions involving the party must be directed to Elder Ambut, the authentic and constitutionally recognized State Chairman.

“The ADC reaffirms its commitment to fostering unity, upholding democratic ideals, and collaborating with all political parties, civil society groups, and the people of Kaduna State to drive progress, peace, and inclusive governance.

“We remain dedicated to advancing the interests of our political community and ensuring the welfare of citizens through constructive dialogue and ethical leadership.”

Engr. Musa stated in the release that the Party is poised to strengthen its role in Kaduna’s political landscape under Elder Ambut’s leadership.

He said: “We urge the public and stakeholders to recognize his authority and support our collective efforts to promote transparency, inclusivity, and democratic values. Together, we can build a brighter future for our state.

“The party appreciates the continued partnership of stakeholders and calls for sustained cooperation to deepen democracy and address the aspirations of the people of Kaduna State.”
