The Chairman, Legislative Service Commission, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Goroh Shadalafiya has tasked the staff of the Assembly on teamwork, and professionalism.
The Chairman gave the advice while declaring open the training/workshop of Assembly Staff on Friday at the commencement of 2024/2025 promotion programme.
He urged them to continue to develop their skills and knowledge to enhance performance and contribute to the success of the House.
“I am honoured to address you today as we commence the 2024/2025 promotion programme. This occasion marks a significant milestone in your career, and I would like to take a moment to acknowledge your hard work and dedication.
“I want to emphasize the importance of teamwork, professionalism and commitment to excellence in our work”.
Shadalafiya noted that promotion motivate, encourage and entice civil servants to do more.
He commended governor Uba Sani for prioritizing the welfare of civil servants in the State.
“We have line up of promotion that has been outstanding for our staff, we resolve as a commission to get in touch with relevant bodies and the governor approved it.
“This exercise will motivate the staff to give out their best to the service to the Kaduna State House of Assembly. The training is also going to help the staff carry out their duties, because they are the backbone of the legislature.
In his remarks, the Director of Promotion, Assembly Service Commission , Christopher Yunana commended the Kaduna State governor , Uba Sani for accepting to conduct the training.
He added that the training was the first of it kind, saying that such training has never taken place before.
