Kaduna Poly, Khemsafe Signs MoU To Deepen Education, Tech Growth

Kaduna Polytechnic and Khemsafe Polytechnic have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing academic standards and technological development through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The ceremony, which took place at Kaduna Polytechnic, was witnessed by key representatives from both institutions, marking a significant milestone in their quest for mutual institutional advancement.

The MoU outlines frameworks for collaborative research, faculty and student exchange, and sharing of academic and technological resources, with the objective of enriching teaching, learning, and innovation across both campuses.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nasiru Wailale described the agreement as a bold step towards academic excellence and institutional synergy, saying that the collaboration will go a long way in improving their programs and exposing students and faculty to broader perspectives.

On his part, Sir Oparaocha said the partnership aligns with Khemsafe’s vision of building a robust academic culture anchored on innovation and knowledge-sharing. 

“We are optimistic that this partnership will foster mutual growth and deepen the capacity of both institutions”.

Dr. Tahir noted that the MoU represents a strategic opportunity to expand joint research and academic initiatives, while  Mrs Juliana Muolokwu expressed appreciation for the collaboration, stating that it would greatly impact educational outcomes for students and staff.

Specific initiatives under the partnership are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks. Stakeholders from both polytechnics expressed confidence that the MoU would yield long-term benefits for the education sector and contribute significantly to technological advancement within the region.

Signatories to the agreement included Dr. Nasiru B. Wailale, Director of Academic Planning, Kaduna Polytechnic; Dr. Arif Tahir, Director of Advancement, Kaduna Polytechnic; Mrs. Juliana Muolokwu, Acting Registrar of Khemsafe Polytechnic; and Sir Cyril Oparaocha, Public Relations Officer, who represented the Provost of Khemsafe Polytechnic.
