The President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engr. Nimrod Musa, has restated his commitment to empowering and developing young people through sports across the country.
In a statement issued by his media assistant to mark the 2025 International Youth Day, Musa commended Nigerian youths for their resilience and contributions to peace, unity, and the socio-economic development of the nation.
He praised their achievements across various sectors and underscored the need for sustained efforts to provide them with opportunities for growth, education, and skills development.
According to him, young people have been major beneficiaries of several transformative programmes he has initiated and facilitated over the years.
The NVBF president cautioned youths against substance abuse and other vices that could impede their personal growth and pursuit of excellence.
He assured that more youth-focused programmes and initiatives would be introduced to promote sustainable development and expand opportunities both within the states and the country at large.
While congratulating Nigerian youths on the occasion, Musa urged them to keep aspiring, learning, and breaking boundaries for a brighter future for themselves and the nation.
