The Arewa Youth Assembly has commended His Excellency Muhammad Badaru for his exemplary service to the nation, describing his leadership as a model of discipline, integrity, and unwavering patriotism.
In a statement yesterday, the Assembly said Badaru’s tenure as Minister of Defence stood out as one of the most distinguished periods in recent national administration. It noted that his leadership came at a critical time of complex security challenges, during which he provided strategic guidance, strengthened operational coordination, and boosted the morale of security personnel across the country.
“Under his supervision, the country’s response to banditry, terrorism, and other security threats acquired renewed focus,” the statement said. “His leadership restored confidence in the defence sector, improved inter-agency cooperation, and enhanced military infrastructure.”
The Assembly added that Badaru’s personal character earned him admiration across Nigeria. “Communities from all regions and faiths continue to respect him for his sincerity, humility, and calm temperament. He served with quiet strength, placing national unity above personal interests,” the statement said.
Youth groups, student organisations, and civil society platforms were also noted to hold him in high esteem. “His accessibility, fairness, and commitment to national advancement make him a role model for young Nigerians,” the Assembly said.
The Arewa Youth Assembly concluded by praying for his full recovery and long life. “May the Almighty grant him renewed strength, good health, and divine protection,” the statement added.
