A non-governmental organization, Huzaifa Foundation has paid 2025 JAMB fees for 300 students in Kaduna.

The Founder and CEO of the Foundation, Engr Huzaifa Usman Ibrahim, who is also the Son of Former Council Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government Area,  Hon. Usman Ibrahim popularly known as Sardaunan Badarawa disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday.

Ibrahim explained that the 300 beneficiaries were carefully selected from various communities across Kaduna Central Senatorial district.

He further said text notification were sent to the beneficiaries through JAMB.

The Philanthropist urged the candidates to complete their registrations which had been paid for.

He said his passion for education and giving back to the society propelled him to devote time and resources to take the youth off the streets so that will be useful to both their parents and society.

“My father, being a philanthropist whose kind gestures to the needy cannot be overemphasized mentored me on the need to be open-handed, especially to the less privileged.

“Many secondary school leavers have dropped out of school and could not continue to higher level due to lack of money to pay JAMB fees.

“To correct the sad trend, We have decided to intervene in our own little way to give these children a sense of belonging by paying their JAMB fees so that they won’t be dropping out of school,” he said.

He pleaded with candidates who were not successful in this year not to lose hope, saying they would be captured next year and in subsequent batch.
