Uba Sani’s Inclusive Government Behind My Defection To APC – Reps Member Magaji

Member representing Jaba/Zangon Kataf Federal Constituency of Kaduna State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Amos Gwamna Magaji has disclosed that his defection to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) was informed by what he described as inclusive government employed by governor Uba Sani.

Hon. Magaji who spoke to journalists yesterday shortly after he received Authentic Award of the Year in Kaduna said that Uba Sani’s developmental strides and political appointments have restored confidence in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Kaduna State.

He said, “Before now, if I had joined APC, my people might have stoned me. But now there is a breath of hope. Uba Sani has performed well, in visits, in projects, and in appointments. The people of Southern Kaduna are beginning to believe in this government.

“For the first time people of Southern Kaduna are seeing inclusiveness, Uba Sani has done well. Our people are now believing in this government, that was also what attracted people into APC. His re-election and that of Tinubu is a done deal”.

Magaji who is also Chairman, House Committee on Healthcare Services expressed commitment to delivering quality representation for his constituency.

When asked about his ambition for 2027, Magaji said “Our people will decides when the time comes. 2027 is still some years ahead and it’s in the hands of God. What we have been doing, we shall continue to do. The good work of promoting healthcare services in Nigeria, and especially in our constituency, will not stop”.

Magaji also reiterated that his performance and the will of the people will determine his political trajectory ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“I am not running to unseat anybody. It’s about quality representation. When the time comes, the people will decide. If they compare and find our record worthy, then so be it”.
