Chairman of the Amalgamation of APC Youth Organisations in Adamawa State, Ambassador Mohammed Ahmed Marafa, on Sunday led a delegation on a condolence visit to the APC National Vice Chairman (North East), Comrade Mustapha Salihu, over the death of his elder brother, Engr. Salihu Muhammad Barde.
The delegation visited Salihu’s Dougirei residence in Yola following the death of Barde, who passed away in Bauchi and was buried according to Islamic rites.
Marafa described the late Barde as a man of humility and integrity whose life of service would remain an inspiration to many.
He said the delegation came to identify with Comrade Salihu in his moment of grief and to show solidarity with him as a dependable leader whose contributions continue to strengthen the APC in Adamawa and across the North East.
Co-Chairman of the coalition, Nurudden Nyako, said the deceased lived a life of generosity and community service, stressing that his influence went beyond family ties and touched lives across Adamawa. He urged the family to draw strength from the values he left behind.
On his part, Secretary of the coalition, Dr Abraham Tizhe Musa, described the late Barde as a man of honesty, hard work and compassion.
He prayed Allah to grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and to strengthen the family to bear the loss.
Dr Musa also assured Comrade Salihu of the group’s continued solidarity, describing him as a unifying force whose leadership remains critical to the progress of the APC in Adamawa and beyond.
