Students of the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Mass Communication programme at Kaduna State University (KASU) marked the conclusion of their final examinations for the 2024/2025 academic session with a blend of relief, reflection, and celebration.
Led by Class Representative Ayuba Tambaya and Assistant Class Representative Juliet Ekwenugo, the class has grown into a closely bonded community, supporting each other through months of lectures, assignments, and the rigours of postgraduate study.
In a message to his classmates, Tambaya expressed gratitude for their shared journey.
“We began as individuals from different backgrounds, but with time we grew into a community bound by shared experiences. Every challenge and every achievement mattered because we faced them together”.
He also sought forgiveness from anyone he may have inadvertently hurt, emphasizing understanding and respect as the class moves forward.
Similarly, Assistant Class Representative Juliet Ekwenugo expressed heartfelt appreciation to her classmates for their cooperation, kind words, and prayers throughout the programme. She prayed for success and excellent results for all members of the class.
Messages of support and encouragement also came from colleagues, including Bilkisu Adamu Sarina, Mrs. Hajara Lawal, Mrs. Patience Daniel, Mrs. Brenda Jummai Stephen, Sani Modibo, Mrs. Florence Benedict Harry, and Malam Abubakar Usman, who congratulated the class and praised their unity, resilience, and camaraderie.
Students described the programme as a period of personal and professional growth, deepening their skills and understanding of communication as a tool for societal impact.
As they look forward to graduation and future career opportunities, the class remains united by shared memories and a collective hope that the bonds formed at KASU will guide them toward meaningful paths and lasting friendships.
