The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kaduna State University, in collaboration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria, has inducted 14 graduates into the pharmacy profession after administering the oath of professional practice to them.
Speaking at the induction ceremony, Surv. Iliyasu A. Saeed, Sarkin Fadan Kajuru Emirate, who represented parents of the graduating students, expressed appreciation to the Kaduna State Government for its support towards the growth and development of the institution.
He said the government’s commitment to providing facilities and creating an enabling environment had positioned the university to compete favourably with other institutions globally.
Saeed also commended the management of the university, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, lecturers and parents for their dedication and sacrifices in nurturing the students academically and morally throughout their studies.
He urged the newly inducted pharmacists to uphold the ethics of the profession, remain law-abiding and render service to humanity with integrity, compassion and professionalism.
One of the inducted pharmacists, Pharm. Abdulmumini Iliyasu Kajuru, a former Secretary-General of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigerian Students (PANS), KASU chapter, received an Award of Appreciation for his contributions and service to the association during his tenure.

In his remarks, Kajuru thanked lecturers, colleagues, friends and family members for their support and encouragement, describing the induction ceremony as a major milestone in his life.
The inducted pharmacists are Abdulmumini Iliyasu Kajuru, Saifullahi Murtala Abubakar, Joshua Hope Bangnyie, Samaila Dauda, Hassan Miracle, Audu Sandra Adze, Abubakar Hauwa Hamza, Ahmed Zainab Isah, Sani Firdaws, Albert Mercy, Habila Bridget Ndip, Suleiman Fatima, Anche A. Zachariah and Danbaba Manasseh.
