The Tinubu Support Group Global (TSGG) has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure at least six million votes from the South-South geopolitical zone in the 2027 presidential election, saying the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda has continued to gain acceptance across the region.
The group’s National President and Spokesperson, Mr Gbenga Fajoye, stated this while addressing members and supporters in the South-South, where he said the organisation had commenced grassroots mobilisation ahead of the next general election.
Fajoye said the group would take its campaign to every ward, local government area and state in the region to galvanise support for the President’s re-election.
“Our target is clear—we will mobilise at least six million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 because Nigerians are already seeing the dividends of purposeful leadership,” he said.
He maintained that the administration’s policies and programmes had continued to resonate with Nigerians, adding that the group was confident the President would receive overwhelming support at the polls.
The TSGG president dismissed criticisms from opposition parties, alleging that they were using misinformation and isolated security incidents to discredit the Federal Government.
According to him, ongoing efforts by the administration to tackle insecurity have recorded significant progress through intelligence-led operations and improved collaboration among security agencies.
He commended the Armed Forces and other security agencies for their sacrifices in protecting the country’s territorial integrity, noting that many personnel had paid the ultimate price in the line of duty.
Fajoye further cited infrastructure development, agriculture, education, transportation, energy, social investment programmes and economic reforms as key areas where the Tinubu administration had recorded notable achievements under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He said the government’s focus remained on national development and improving the welfare of Nigerians, expressing optimism that the administration’s performance would translate into increased electoral support in 2027.
The TSGG leader also urged political stakeholders to place national interest above partisan considerations and support efforts aimed at consolidating peace, security and sustainable development across the country.
He reiterated the group’s commitment to expanding its grassroots mobilisation across the South-South, saying members would continue to engage communities on the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration ahead of the 2027 general election.
