In a move to strengthen public-private collaboration for economic growth, the Khemsafe Conglomerate has expressed interest in partnering Kaduna Industrial and Finance Company Limited (KIFC).
During a courtesy visit to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the state-owned finance agency, Hon. Barr. Naymarie Francesca Musa Akande, the Khemsafe delegation conveyed goodwill and offered areas of strategic collaboration in ICT, engineering, and human capital development.
The team, drawn from Khemsafe Computers and Communications Ltd. and Khemsafe Polytechnic, was led by the firm’s Head of Media and Public Relations, Sir Cyril Oparaocha, who delivered a message of congratulations on behalf of the group’s CEO, Dr. Dave Obiora.
Oparaocha described Barr. Akande’s appointment by Governor Uba Sani as a well-deserved recognition of his competence and leadership qualities, praising him for what he called “a reputation for meticulousness, tenacity and selfless service.”
“Khemsafe is one of Nigeria’s leading ICT and capacity-building firms. We are ready to leverage our existing ties and experience to support the vision of Industry and Finance Ltd, especially in areas that align with Kaduna State’s development agenda”.
Also speaking, the Acting Registrar of Khemsafe Polytechnic, Mrs. Juliana Muolokwu, congratulated the MD and assured him of the institution’s readiness to collaborate on programmes that will yield mutual benefits, especially in youth training and entrepreneurship.
Engr. Edwin Okoli, Head of Engineering at Khemsafe Computers and Communications, pledged the group’s technical expertise to support the agency’s operations where needed.
Industry and Finance Ltd plays a vital role in Kaduna State’s economic development by facilitating access to finance and supporting small and medium-scale industries.
