No fewer than 200 residents have benefited from a free medical outreach organised by OneAgape Foundation Nigeria in collaboration with Dave’s Health Care Limited in Ungwa Yelwa Television area of Kaduna State.

The medical outreach, which took place during the weekend, was organised to provide basic healthcare services for residents who may not have easy access to medical attention.

Held under the theme “One Health Community, Stronger Future,” the programme offered free blood pressure tests, hepatitis screening, medical consultations and distribution of medications to participants.

Speaking during the outreach, the Chief Executive Officer of OneAgape Foundation Nigeria, Mr. Philip Obhafuoso, said the initiative was aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and improving the well-being of people at the community level.

Obhafuoso noted that many people often overlook routine medical checks due to financial challenges, stressing that community health interventions help in early detection and treatment of diseases.

According to him, the foundation partnered with Dave’s Health Care Limited to ensure that residents received professional medical attention and the medications they needed at no cost.

He explained that the theme of the outreach emphasises the importance of healthy communities in building a stronger and more productive society.

The CEO added that the programme particularly focused on preventive care through blood pressure checks and hepatitis screening, which help identify potential health conditions early.

Medical personnel who participated in the outreach attended to residents, offering consultations, medical advice and necessary medications.

Some beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the organisers, noting that the outreach provided them the opportunity to check their health status without paying for medical services.
