NBSL Super Four Finals Set For September In Kaduna

The 2026 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super Four Finals will take place from September 18 to 20 at the Murtala Muhammed Square, Kaduna State, with four teams battling for the league title.

The four teams that qualified for the championship are Ibom Beach Soccer Club, Kada Beach Soccer Club, Kebbi Fishers Beach Soccer Club and Niger Beach Soccer Club.

The finals will bring the 2026 NBSL season to a close following the completion of the regular season, which featured the first round in Kebbi State and the second round in Kaduna.

According to the NBSL Secretariat, the participating teams and league officials are expected to arrive in Kaduna on September 16 ahead of the final phase of the competition.

Activities for the finals will begin on September 17 with a beach soccer clinic, technical session and team training, while the Super Four matches will be played from September 18 to 20.

The teams will depart Kaduna on September 21 after the conclusion of the competition.

The 2026 NBSL champion will be crowned at the end of the Super Four Finals.

Kebbi Fishers Beach Soccer Club are three-time champions, having won the league in 2021, 2023 and 2024, while Kada Beach Soccer Club won the 2022 edition. Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors won the title in 2025.

The Super Four Finals will also provide an opportunity for national team coaches to assess players ahead of Nigeria’s Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations (BSAFCON) qualifying tie against Ghana.

The NBSL Secretariat expressed appreciation to the Kaduna State Government, participating clubs, sponsors, partners, officials, supporters and other stakeholders for their support throughout the 2026 season.

With four of the league’s top-performing sides set to contest the final stage, attention will now shift to Kaduna as the teams battle for the 2026 NBSL crown.
