The Executive Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Dauda Madaki, has distributed free fertiliser to vulnerable households across the local government as part of efforts to support agricultural activities and improve livelihoods.
The fertiliser, facilitated through the agricultural intervention of Governor Uba Sani, was distributed at the Kajuru Local Government Secretariat to beneficiaries from various communities in the area.
Speaking during the distribution, Madaki commended Governor Sani for his continued support for smallholder farmers in Kajuru and efforts to strengthen agricultural productivity across the state.
He said the intervention would enable vulnerable households to benefit from the Kaduna State Government’s investment in agriculture, food security and rural livelihoods.
Madaki also conveyed the appreciation of the beneficiaries and people of Kajuru to the governor, describing the intervention as a demonstration of the government’s support for agriculture and rural communities.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Governor Sani for the gesture and pledged to reciprocate the support in 2027.
